A&W’s Fourth Annual Cruisin’ For a Cause.
You may have noticed the shined-up, tricked-out and classic cars hanging around A&W all summer. It’s always a treat whenever they gather but on one day in particular things really get rev’d up. This Thursday, August 23, A&W has again teamed up with the MS Society of Canada to host the Fourth Annual Cruisin’ For a Cause. It’s a special day where $1 from every teen burger sold gets donated toward MS research and to help families struggling with MS.
You may be surprised to learn that Canada has one of the highest rates of Multiple Sclerosis in the world, with three people diagnosed with the neurological disorder every day.
“This event brings people together, raises awareness for MS and allows us to continue to fund important MS research and services that are important to people living with MS,” (Yves Savoie, MS Society of Canada.)
Restaurants in Mount Pearl, CBS, Gander and Clarenville are all participating. So be sure to stop by – not only can you get your fill of vintage cars and tasty food, but you’ll be helping a great cause as well.
